Modern Slavery Statement

Bink opposes Modern Slavery in all its forms

The International Labour Organisation estimates that there are 21 million people in forced labour in the world today. This statement demonstrates how Bink ensures that modern slavery and human trafficking does not occur within any part of our business or supply chains. Bink has chosen to publish an annual statement to demonstrate our commitment to tackling modern slavery in addition to our existing policies and ways of working both within our own business practises and those within our supply chain.

Who we are

Bink is a fintech company, based in the UK, with the mission to create a world where loyalty comes with less fuss and where rewards are easier for everyone. We employ a number of people across a variety of countries. To provide our solution we use a large range of suppliers, some of which help us perform our own business activities and some of which we use as a part of our customer solution.

Please see here for more information about Bink.

Our Policies and Procedures

Bink is committed to preventing modern slavery and/or human rights violations in our sphere of influence. Our policies ensure that we act with integrity in all our business activities and include our:

  • Risk Management Policy
  • Third Party Policy
  • Anti-Bribery Policy
  • Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
  • HR policies and processes such as background checks during onboarding
  • Employee Code of Conduct
  • Whistleblowing Policy

Bink completes due diligence on all our suppliers and our wider supply chain which are monitored by the Bink Board of Directors.

This ensures that any risks are managed with key measurements captured to ensure our continued compliance.

Employee Training

Bink provides guidance to support our employees’ understanding of expected behaviour.

If employees have concerns, we encourage them to raise them directly with their line manager or Human Resources.

Bink’s Whistleblowing Policy is available for all employees and provides more information on how to raise concerns internally.

Approvals

This modern slavery and human trafficking statement is made in reference to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 for and on behalf of Bink for the financial year ending April 2023.

This statement has been approved by the Bink board of directors (as of June 2022). It will be reviewed and updated annually.

Next Steps

Bink will review our position wherever appropriate. We will continue to work with our suppliers to ensure that they hold the same values and work with us in the fight against modern slavery.
